The Slinger Police Department is located in the Slinger Village Hall at 300 Slinger Road. We are located in the State of Wisconsin, Washington County. Administrative offices are open weekdays 8AM to 8:00PM with the exception of Holidays.
Our Mission StatementIt is the mission of the Slinger Police Department to provide an environment of stability and security to the citizens of the Village of Slinger and all other individuals that are at anytime within the boundaries of the village. Departmental personnel will enforce Federal, State, and Village laws and will perform functions designated by the Constitution of the United States, Wisconsin State Statutes and Village Ordinance.
General InformationThe Slinger Police Department serves the Village 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week. The department consists of a Chief of Police, Lieutenant, and 7 sworn officers. We also have an administrative staff of 2 and 7 school crossing guards. Slinger has a population (census 01, 2007) of 4,592. Nestled in the Village is the Slinger Speedway that draws additional visitors throughout the year. The Department handled 2,062 complaints and 8,900 calls for service according to 2007 statistics. Officers also investigated 184 Traffic Accidents, issued 212 ordinance citations, 611 traffic citations, and made 241 Warrant Arrests. During the various patrol shifts, officers conducted 4637 building checks making sure business and residential properties are secure and safe from criminal activity.
