CRIME PREVENTION / SAFETY PROGRAMS
The Department is involved in several community events including but not limited to, speeches within our school system, bicycle safety, officer friendly programs that are conducted at the various child day care centers, and the interaction with students through our school liaison officer.

CAPABILITIES
The Slinger Police Department is available to answer questions and offer information to the community it serves. Although our agency has to reluctantly turn down some requests for Officers to speak at functions, we will make our best effort to make Officers available to speak on any of the vast array of disciplines in our training.
Some of the speaking engagements we have conducted in the past are, "Officer Friendly" at various pre-kindergarten classes and at the local library, In-School presentations, and Police Department tours, just to name a few.
